MIT Postdoctoral Association

The MIT Postdoctoral Association (PDA) is a postdoc-led organization that supports and builds community for over 1500 postdoctoral trainees in over 50 different MIT departments, laboratories, centers and programs. All MIT-appointed postdocs are automatically members of the PDA. The PDA leadership team welcomes postdocs at monthly meetings and regular events, and encourages them to get involved. The Office of the Vice President for Research has oversight of the PDA.

National Postdoctoral Association (NPA)

The National Postdoctoral Association (NPA) is a network of postdocs across the country, with resources that can help further your career. As an MIT postdoc, you can join the NPA for free as an affiliate member (use your MIT email address to register).
