National Postdoc Appreciation Week, September 2024

National Postdoctoral Appreciation Week recognizes the important contributions that postdoctoral scholars make to their institutions. We hope you will join one or more of these events to enjoy the company of your fellow postdocs. 

MIT Events

September 17 – Resource Fair for Postdocs

You are invited to a Resource Fair on September 17th at 3:00pm, featuring offices from across the Institute that can help enhance your career and your life at MIT. Please join us to meet and mingle with your fellow postdocs and learn about some resources that you may not have known about. There will also be light refreshments and raffle prizes!

September 25 – Postdoc Appreciation Luncheon

All current postdoctoral scholars and their mentors are invited to a lunch in celebration of National Postdoc Appreciation Week. Lunch will be provided by Blue Ribbon BBQ and others. Paperless Post invitations have been sent to all postdocs and faculty/PIs – check your mail and RSVP by September 18.

National Events

The National Postdoc Association (NPA) has curated a list of additional virtual events that postdocs can attend, including a postdoc town hall on September 19th, and many seminars and workshops for postdocs in all fields of research.
